This painting shows two Moroccan women inside a traditional riad.
One is of Jewish faith and wears a traditional Moroccan Jewish dress known as the "Kaswa Kbira" (the grand attire).

The scene reflects the long history of coexistence between Jewish and Muslim communities in Morocco.

The work also honors Moroccan women as guardians of tradition and social harmony, preserving customs and transmitting values across generations.
